WetterCube/Einstellungen/en
All settings are made in the web interface: http://wettercube.local (or the IP address shown on the display for 5 seconds at startup). The device and the browser must be on the same Wi-Fi. All values are stored permanently in flash (NVS) and survive restarts and updates.
Web interface
The page is divided into cards. The cards Warnings, Screens, Display, Night mode and Firmware belong to one common form; "Speichern" (save) at the bottom applies them all at once. Location and Wi-Fi have their own buttons.

Changing the location: the cube looks up the coordinates again and loads the weather immediately. No restart is needed.
Changing the Wi-Fi: the cube saves the new credentials and restarts. If the connection to the new network fails it opens the setup portal after 15 seconds (see Getting started). The Wi-Fi scan only runs on a button press because it blocks the device for a few seconds.
Dimming and night mode
- Dimming: after the configured time without a button press, the brightness drops to 20 %. A button press restores the configured brightness (and does not switch screens at the same time).
- Night mode: within the From/To window (also across midnight) the display is set to the night brightness, so at 0 % it is switched off completely. A button press wakes the display for 15 seconds, and every further press extends the time. When night mode is active it replaces normal dimming.
- The time comes via NTP (Europe/Berlin time zone). Without a time sync, night mode runs with 00:00.

After a fresh installation (or if a value has never been saved) the defaults from the table above apply.
