WetterCube Fusion is the next step of the WetterCube family: a large 7-inch weather display, built exclusively with ESP-IDF and tailored to the Waveshare ESP32-P4-WIFI6-Touch-LCD-7B (1024×600, MIPI-DSI, capacitive touch, Wi-Fi through the ESP32-C6). It continues the WetterCubePlus XL and will later get environment sensors, Home Assistant and MQTT. Weather, forecast, pollen and allergens, air quality, DWD warnings with a warning map, Biowetter, a web interface and on-device updates. Designed for Germany (DWD data, German display language).
Status: in development (alpha), the source code is open (Apache 2.0). Until the P4 board arrives, the same code runs on the Waveshare ESP32-S3-Touch-LCD-7B (also 1024×600).
